With all the talk of NASes and Linux servers for
SlimServer, I checked into something I've played
with in the past, ClarkConnect:

It's a Linux distro designed to turn a PC into a
server/firewall. In the past I used ClarkConnect
as a firewall. It's turned into a server now.
Anyway SlimServer not only runs on it, it's
INCLUDED with it:

Mark -
I am running the latest version of ClarkConnect home and have been very
pleased with it. Currently, I am simply running my CC box (it's a very
old P-133 with 128 MB ram) as a firewall/gateway. If I ever upgrade the
box to include a more "server" role - SlimServer integration will be
something I explore.
I've been very pleased with my CC box, in the two years I've been using
it, it has performed flawlessly.
Let me know how you like running Slimserver on your CC box. I'd be
interested to hear your story as would others.
