after a little hiccup (was sent the euro adapter instead of the US one, which was immediately corrected) i finally installed server (after some hiccups - i was getting the "slimerver starting" issue, but re-installing seemed to solve it) and the squeezebox last night and it all worked like a dream.
But what sold me (and slimdevices owes the creator a huge thanks) is AlienBBC. The fact that it can track, not just the live streaming, but also the stored programs is worth the money by itself.
