I'm glad i found this thread, i was going insane trying to get them to work.
I can confirm the Slimserver no longer works with Cuesheets :(
Please open a bug at http://bugs.slimdevices.com/
and attach one of the cue sheets in question.

Also - make sure that the file referenced by 'FILE' matches what is on disk.
