"Of course, you could have multiple playlists but that would require rescanning the playlists each time you wanted to change. I guess that would not be too much of a problem if you wanted to listen to Jazz, Classical, etc for an entire evening."
I tried this with a folder with 15 playlists and about 300 songs and a playlist rescan on my slow computer only required 2.5 minutes. I guess then that this is a temporary solution for a evening of music until slimdeices corrects the proplem in the future. Be certain to vote for the bug above!
