Please use a symlink instead. You can create one via Terminal.
Example: ln -s /Volumes/NewHD/Music /Users/Ultramog/Music
And if you *really* dislike using the Terminal, search Versiontracker
for "symbolic link" and you will find a couple of programs that let
you create a link using the GUI.
