What is your feeling about it? Judging by the number of posts you have
made, you may have some insider information?
I honestly don't know. When I first saw the squeezebox1, I also
thought that a set of speakers to go with it would be desired. I'm
sure it's been considered, and when the right answer comes along then
they'll do it. if integration is the way to go, then I expect when
there is demand enough to support ramping up that type of product, then
they will. So far, it's been one product at a time, so I would think
that an integrated radio solution would be something to do when
supporting more than one product. At least, that would be my hope. I
don't really have need for such a thing (some would argue my 'need' for
the existing products ;)), so I've liked the standalone products for
mating with my own speakers/audio systems.
Those are my feelings. As for insider info, the number of posts only
means that I can't keep my mouth shut :) I have been a beta tester for
the current and prior hardware, and that comes with the trust of
non-disclosure. Even at that, it doesn't help with future plans. Only
those with @slimdevices.com email addys know what's in the pipe.
