Because this is a cross-post, you should probably read the things I wrote in the other post about missing files.
About showing files out of order, I notice this with some compilations. It shows the files in alphabetical order by artist in the browse pane on the left. However, they get queued to the player in album order. I'm not sure why this is, whether it's an option that got turned on by mistake or on purpose, or whether it's a bug.
