Thanks for the reply. I installed slimserver and softsqueeze and activated the MusicMagic program. It all looks very nice (I have ordered a Squeezebox after I saw how it all works).
Still a big improvement would be if you could create an instant Music Magic mix by just holding the play button (instead it will ask if I want to save the current playlist). Going the "NOW PLAYING then RIGHT to show the song info, press DOWN until you see the album title, then RIGHT to get to the album list where it set the currently playing song as the displayed song. Press and hold PLAY at this point will create a mix based on that song." route is quite a lot of steps. Maybe if people don't like the 'cluttered interface' with the mm icon why not be able to toggle it on and off when clicking 'now playing' or something. Or make it an option somewhere that instead of 'saving playlist', holding the play button creates a new MusicMagic mix based on the current song... I will see when I get my SB to see how annoying I find it (since creating instant mixes with TiVo is so easy).
