I just installed the Jan 3 6.2.2 nightly and this problem is no longer a problem. (Also the various tag reading issues that people reported with the Jan 2 nightly are squashed.) One minor issue remains: the "1 album with 144 songs by 2 artists" summary that appears for a Various Artists listing is invariably completely wrong, i.e., not even close. Sometimes it shows "0 albums with 0 songs", other times a very low number of albums and songs on a page that clearly shows dozens or even hundreds of albums. (Note that I deleted the database and the template cache folder and allowed a complete rebuild before testing.) Functionally all seems to be well; this is just a display issue affecting Various Artists pages. I think, though I'm not 100% sure, that this display was correct in 6.2.1.
