I don't think you'd have issues with leading zeroes, but note the version number of your PSP - see post #4. Also note that user did not have a time out but a "Communication with the server failed. A DNS error has occurred (80410414)" message. Your time out error indicates: - you are connecting to a working DNS server - your PSP *thinks* that SlimServer is there but it either isn't at that address or your PSP is somehow being blocked You haven't enabled SlimServer - Security - Block Incoming Connections have you? You can use this - in fact it's a great idea, but you need to put your PSP's IP address here if you want this protection, along with the IP addresses of your Squeezeboxes and networked computers. If you have blocking enabled and your PSP's IP address is not on the Allowed IP Addresses list you won't connect. profichiller wrote: > I know that I have to use the Server's IP Adress instead of "localhost". > For me it's "http://192.168.116.23:9000" ! > I know the adress by double clicking on my network connection and it's > presented in the router interface. > When i use another computer as a client, it's no problem to use the > WebInterface, but when I do the same with the PSP Browser I just get a > "time out"! > > > I don't know why! > > -- ___________________________________ Mark Lanctot ___________________________________ __________________________________________________________ Find your next car at http://autos.yahoo.ca _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
