That means the service hasn't registered. BTW
since I'm on my SlimServer PC now, the process is
called SlimServer.
Generally the solution is to uninstall/reinstall,
but you indicated you already did this with no effect.
Can anyone else help erica here?

command-line switches for the installer program to
force registration or something?
