chair, and I want to be able to look up at the iTunes screen and see
the album art of whatever song I'm listening to staring back at me.

I don't think you can do this directly. It can be done indirectly,
losing the lossless effect, by Nicecast (on a Mac, similar programs
on Windows, don't know about Linux) to make a broadcast stream from
the computer's sound, and getting the SB to accept this.
