Actually I tested both of the methods I thought might work and neither do.
1) Slimserver will not listen on port 80. Web UI does not accept this as a valid port for some reason. Perhaps becuase the Linux folk are all running Webservers, not sure. 2) I downloaded the AnalogX port blocker/forwarder and configured it to forward port 80 requests to port 9000 but still not joy. Normal surfing of the web-site is fine, but when I click on the RSS feed icon, the browser still does not display the configured icon/image, and as expected the stream is not found.
