I'm curious about what sort of plastic was used in
the old black SB2 case.
I've never seen, or, more appropriately, *felt*,
anything like it.
Is it rubberized through and through or is it just
on the finish?
Is it regular high-impact polystyrene mixed with
rubber powder?
I've worked in the plastics industry a bit
(polyethylene and polypropylene film casting and a
smattering of polyethylene and polystyrene
production) so don't spare any technical details
if anyone has them.
