And lest I forget to mention: when you press rewind or fast-forward multiple times to get back to "play" mode, the SB3 actually speeds up the function and moves you even *further* away from where it was you wanted to resume playback, often taking you to the beginning or end of the track before you can cycle through all eight speeds.
