I guess maybe my first question should be whether or not
custom-types.conf and custom-convert.conf (slimserver-convert.conf)
even function in the same manner as custom-strings.txt.  That is, do
you enter only lines which are to overwrite those in the standard
types.conf and convert.conf files?  Or do they function differently,
say by replacing the standard files entirely, and therefore requring
all entries from the original?
