OR... what I'm using in my bedroom is the speakers that came with my plasma and a Sonic T-Amp (got mine from Thinkgeek.com for $30) with a 12V 1500mA adapter for power. It only outputs 15W a channel but that's enough to drive the speakers for background sound.
