FWIW, there's a memory leak in 6.2.1 (at least on linux). I was advised to upgrade to a nightly 6.2.2. Just did that today and everything seems fine so far (SB2/3 firmware needs to be upgraded to v29 too). Your CPU isn't a problem and the SB2/3 have an adequate buffer. I'd be intertested in knowing if the upgrade works for the Mac too.
