I'm not sure if SB1 supports SlimServer 6.2.1's
ReplayGain functionality or not.

If it does, download MP3Gain:
http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/ and *analyze* all
files using the "Track Analysis" button.  SlimServer
will then use the written ReplayGain tags to normalize
the volume.

If the SB1 does not use the ReplayGain functionality,
you can use MP3Gain to actually alter the audio data
volume using the "Track Gain" button.
