I'm not sure if SB1 supports SlimServer 6.2.1's ReplayGain functionality or not.
If it does, download MP3Gain: http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/ and *analyze* all files using the "Track Analysis" button. SlimServer will then use the written ReplayGain tags to normalize the volume.
