Keep in mind, a Squeezebox never goes "off", it goes into standby, where it remains connected to the server, be it SqueezeNetwork or SlimServer.
With that in mind and based on the situation you describe in your last sentence, the best way would be to turn the player on and off through the web interface. It won't disconnect from SqueezeNetwork though, but will go into standby. You turn the player on and off through the power button on the upper right of the SqueezeNetwork home page. Again, this will put the player into standby and will not disconnect it entirely. The only way to do that is to either interrupt power or connect it to SlimServer. Both have to be done through the remote. -- Mark Lanctot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=21103 _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
