It mimics the sounds that the baby got used to hearing in the womb and blocks out baby-waking noises that he / she isn't used to (dogs barking, sirens wailing, aeroplanes, TV etc, etc.) - makes the world a less scary and noisy place for newborns. Not recommended for longer term use though - some more recent research suggests that it may delay speech development in older babies. -- Siduhe ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Siduhe's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=723 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=21261 _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
