This was one feature I miss from my old Sony CD jukeboxes. There are a few easy work-arounds, but I hope for a better solution from Slim in the future.
My work-around: I assign an additional genre, "this song sucks", to the tracks I never want to hear. (To set up multiple genres you have to set a delimiter in 'Server Settings, Behavior, Multiple Items In Tags'.) Then when I'm set up a playlist in the web interface, I subtract all songs from the "this song sucks" genre. Not all Slimserver 'Skins' support subtraction.
