It's not quite as it seems although the music is playing most days all day and, fortunately, SWMBO and I like the same music. SlimServer is running from a spare laptop and I leave it and synchronised Squeeboxes on 24x7 (almost invariably random mix). We turn on speakers when we want to listen which, as I work from home a lot, is most of the time. Today, for example, they've been on since about 07:00 and won't get turned off until around 19:00 this evening. I love Last.FM but I'm not sure my wallet is going to stand much more new music it finds me!
