Bruce, the power supply works fine and IS approved for FCC and CE. That
doesn't mean it will not interfere at all with AM reception - there are
different limits at different frequencies for various classes of
device, and results are highly dependent on how your equipment is laid
out, how strong the station is, what frequency etc.  

Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] if you'd like to get it swapped out for
a different power supply. We have an alternate one but we do not
normally ship it because it is much bulkier and most prefer the small
supply.
