No, you woudn't (at least I can't see how you would) - you'd use a regular channel fader. A crossfader -specifically- mixes between two signals, that's what the "cross" bit means. You'd get the effect you want on a mixer by bringing channel A down to zero and then B up from zero, leaving the crossfader centered the whole time. > Call it what you will, I'd just like the function.
