I'm not sure how to tell. I would guess ID3v1 though. I primarily use Grip for ripping and it looks like ID3v2 is an extra option that is off by default. Many of these tracks were ripped years ago, and I doubt I would have enable ID3v2 since I don't really know what the differences are.
