I have PIII HP ePC setup as a dedicated SlimServer and I am very
satisfied. Yes, it takes a standard 3.5" ATA disk. However, I believe
that the BIOS only recognizes up to  137GB.

If the above disk limit is not a problem, then PIII ePC is an excelent
solution. The box is almost silent ( much more quiet than my P4 Shuttle
XPC box ).
