The sound quality is excellent. The SB2 interface and remote are excellent (but I just wish there was a "back" button like on a browser. This would be useful when assembling playlists). The PC is safe in the loft - I never have to go there, and it is unlikely to get pinched. The forums are excellent for support and for bouncing ideas around - you'll get no support from the big manufacturers. Regular firmware and software updates are freely available - refreshing my SB2 every few months. And because it is not mainstream.
