Hi, if the Slimserver is started as service you can start and stop the Service from another Computer - but not via a Webfrontend. In Windows you can go to Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer Management. Start this and with a right klick on Computer Managment [local] you can connect to another Server and start / stop Services. You had to login on your pc as an Admin and both Systems in the same Workgroup. On Linux there are much easier Ways to do the same - but i am now in hurry - had to go to work now.
