check the version in Execute.pm, and also run using d_plugins.
if the debug says it is running the given script, then the next line of
code makes the system call
after that, there is little that I can do, as the problem lies with the
system (or somehow, Perl).
I would have expected it to be an all or nothing, so this is a very odd
condition. If you are running the debug and do NOT see the play event
detected, for example, then I do know where to look.
