Quoting TimM <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
Cheers, will post log when I get chance, can't get to my machine at the
moment, but KDF is correct in that basically it's any tag with unicode.
1.5 handles them OK but 1.6 seems to find them and then delete them at
the end of a rescan. So the likes of Sigur Ros, Amon Duul and
Einsterzende Nuebuaten do not make it through (no bad thing some might
argue - perhaps its a stealth post rock filter).
If the server recieves that data without unicode characters, and
checks the filesystem and sees unicode, then the data may not be
considered a match, and the "missing" files cleaned up. I don't know
much about the MusicIP development process, or why unicode problems
keep coming back, but I do know that they do handle more than just one
code base. It may be that MusicIP is a big enough rewrite that
something like this got left out. Best bring it up on their forum
