Are you running Windows XP with SP2 installed ?

That error appears to be a data execution error message - very odd.

I would try uninstalling Slimserver completely - maybe using a third
party uninstaller than the built in one (there are lots you can try
free for a short period - I use System Mechanic 6 which has loads of
features including a powerful uninstaller). Make sure Slim.exe isn't
appearing in Processes of your Task Manager.  Purge the Recycle Bin and
power down and then back up.  Then try reinstalling 6.2.2.
