Interesting. That prompted me to find out just what Repair might do
other than renew DHCP. It does indeed do more! A link with the complete
list is below, but it seems clear that the key is this:

You may want to try upgrading to the latest nightly of 6.2.2. A number
of firmware revisions have been made to correct problems with various
wireless configurations. There is a list of wireless configurations
that have been tested.
