When I was planning my sabbatical, I considered Sweden. I had a nice job offer there, but one of my colleagues had been posted to Sweden for a year and she told me she couldn't deal with the long winter nights. It turns out, she had Seasonal Affect Disorder, so it effected her more than most people, but still, it made me reconsider too. I wouldn't like that either.
Maybe that's why they have more holidays. The day length change is probably a stressor. (so I ended up in Germany, about 10° north of where I had lived most of my life, and the sun went down at 4:30 during the winter. Bad enough) -- Michaelwagner ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Michaelwagner's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=428 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=22774 _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
