Hmm, mine didn't have any HD bracket that I am aware of. The only
thing I would describe as a "bracket" is the heat sink, which just
comes off by removing the retaining nuts. When that comes off I can
directly see the DOM, which is just held in place with one screw. That
just un-seats.

I think the could rule of thumb is to think, what would I run on a
Pentium 1 / 266? That's essentially what the CPU behaves like. I think
it can certainly run all those apps, but not with a fat window
manager.

DSL Is the only one I've tried on it, the few times I ran even a full
Knoppix boot into KDE were painfully slow.
