Hello cat5: I just got a Mac Mini and was able to download a cd to it's hard drive using iTunes and play it back through my system using an SB2. I wasn't sure what you meant when you said you were streaming it to your Power Book. If you download the ripped cd to your Mac Mini hard drive then send the music file ( I used Apple lossless format ) to your SB using wired or wireless transmission you should be ok. I use a wireless connection via an Apple Airport Extreme card in my Mac Mini with a Netgear Rangemax 802.11g base station. Are you using the most recent update of Slim Server software for Mac OS ?
