This is what I have found. If you use the sb3 to search playlists it seems to use a URL such as http://www.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunin-stationpls?id=3499&filename=playlist.pls.
About two days ago this stopped working on the squeezebox. It won't play most stations. If I un plug the sb3 and plug back in, it works better, but a few hours later - nothing. I can't use a station as an alarm because I don't know if it will work or not. But If I connect to slimserver via web browser amd click on a shoutcast station it plays fine. What I noticed is then when you do it this way it uses am ip address instead of a url, like this: http://207.200.96.227:8038, which works fine. I immediatly thought this was a DNS issue and switched to several DNS servers - No luck. I tried playing directly from Winamp - No luck. I tried playing at work on our 100 megabit internet connection - no luck. So I can't be the only one having this problem can I? It used to work great - I mainy got this for internet radio, and I have not been able to use shoutcast for two days. Hurmph!
