I have mentioned this in a few threads along these lines. I listen to quite a bit of internet radio and being able to stream that through the slimserver to my psp would be extremely cool.
I also came across this program but was dismayed to discover it could not handle pls shoutcast streams. I tried setting up the slimserver to stream to itunes and then tried using this particular application but the stream did not appear. Despite being a *.mp3 extension there must be more to this plugin that prevented the stream from occuring. Maybe the lack of a finite track time.
