While Ken's response is relevant and helpful to the problem at hand, I just wanted to correct him on the transcoding details. When syncing multiple boxes with different capabilities, the server will fall back to the capabilities of the weakest box. In other words, in Ken's example, when the SB2 and SB1 are synched, the flac decoding is happening on the server for *both* units and *both* units are receiving raw pcm (unless you have bitrate limiting on, in which case both are receiving mp3).
