an install of any new version of slimserver will not wipe your prefs
file, except when certain software changes require alterations to the
format, or removing prefs known to cause a problem. Any automatic
changes are done as a last resort only. You should not have to copy
the old file in order to maintain rss and podcast feeds, thought it is
always the safest plan to do regular backups in case of emergency.
