I checked further by re-installing 6.2.2 and the above "undocumented feature" is not in that release. It was only in the SlimServer_v2006-04-28 release of 6.3.0. Further mystery... last nights release of 6.3.0 (v2006-04-29) is a much smaller exe file - size 11,431,395 - whereas the April 28 release was 16,507,612. And when I installed the April 29 release it was missing stuff like the "autostart" file...
