Ah, good link.  Google didn't seem to turn that up.  I guess it's
because ad-hoc networks aren't very common.

I'll edit.  I'm not sure if the tone of the post should be encouraging
or discouraging it.  Ad-hoc is cheap I guess, but it offers no security
and you're relying on a flaky piece of software to do it, MS Wireless
Zero Configuration.
