So true. The only remotes I use are a phillips pronto and the sb remote.
The physical keys are nicer than the touch screen for controlling the
sb.

That's what keeps me from taking the leap for the nokia device, sight unseen. I really need to have an idea of the feel of touchscreen.

I'm using a URC9911. It is both wonderful, and a curse, to have an RF remote. Recently, I've learned how to set up the extenders for this remote and I've been able to reprogram the entire remote with all the device macros to have the AV system reconfigure as needed for each device. I also have maps for every remote that I've "learned" and added to the mix. I finally no longer need any of the others, not even for backup when some strange, never used command comes up, or the dvd player decides to react to yet another signal not meant for it. I use it for squeezebox control as well, but the navigation arrows are not as "nice" as on the slimn remote, so that stays nearby. The downside, even while programming it two rooms away, my wife had to be disturbed by rogue RF commands interrupting her program :) Now if only the cordless phone was so effective.

I have to remember to post the newest slimserver remote addon for the urc too. It's way better than my old one.
