Chaz, You wouldn't be set up to stream your ALAC files as FLAC, would you? Because there are a group of us (search the forums) who are having the exact same problem using FLAC...cutting off the beginning or the end (but not always--just sometimes for me). The workaround, for now, is to stream from FLAC to WAV... I'm not sure how to handle the ALAC streaming...
