Almost all in FLAC (I was lucky to come in rather late and I didn't have a large MP3 collection). Classical CD's (Album = "Symphony no.1..." etc so each CD is tagged as typically a couple of Albums). Around 900 complete CD's. Hardware: Media PC built using a Zalman TNN300 (Totally No Noise = no fans anywhere). Windows 2003 Server + Athlon 3200. 500GB hard disk, no raid since I keep only copies of the music here - second copy on my main computer (untill it has filled up in estimated 6 months from now...) and third copy on a NAS (paranoid...). Player = SoftSqueeze via a Lynx-II sound card (because it has balanced outputs and can be clocked externally).
