Simon, My understanding was that the MusicIP premium licence was not time limited, but I've only had mine for 6 months so may be mistaken.
You indicate that you can generate mixes from the slim interface so the MusicIP API must be operating OK, and this is only available if you have either a trial or full key. In SS there is a server setting in the MusicMagic section which specifies the amount of time between reloads of the MM database information. If it's set to zero the reload is disabled. Check this setting and that SS is set to use MM on the first page of server settings (at the bottom).
