Additionally, another great produt for this sort of thing is Tag&Rename.
http://www.softpointer.com/tr.htm Tag&Rename supports meta-tagging for a variety of formats (WMA, MP3, OGG, M4A, FLAC, etc) and has not only batch editing options, but also the ability to retrieve tags/album art from Amazon.com, or FreeDB.org (based on track order and length). When you have tagged the files, you can also rename the files/directories based on the tags using your own format. Admittedly you can use just iTunes for the latter option.
