There's no way to add artwork without doing a rescan. Browse Music Folder doesn't do it. See this bug (er, enhancement request): http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2116 > I don't know why it does this, but it is sort of annoying. What SlimServer _does_ do, for reasons I've never really understood, is looks for artwork files when you get to the album view. But it doesn't save what it has learned in the database. In Browse Artwork, however, it uses whatever file reference is (or is not) stored in the database. Like you say, the behavior of SlimServer can be annoyingly inconsistent. Sometimes it remembers what it finds when just doing simple library browsing, sometimes not. Sometimes it looks for real files, sometimes it just uses what it knows from the database. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24233 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
