The bigger problem is controlling it through a flush keypad instead of the remote
If you're going to build a hole in the wall for it, what if you built in a little slot where you could put the remote? Or have you explored althernative remote control options, e.g. Nokia 770 or one of the phones that supports Sailing Clicker?
