If you have a server for music, why not install SlimServer on that? That would also allow remote control of all players. They can be turned off and on, volume adjusted and playlist changed from any location that can access the server, and if the client didn't have access to that, they couldn't change anything. A server is absolutely essential for Squeezebox operation. The Squeezebox is a streaming audio -client-. It contains very little - the computing power is in the server. It's a slim device, hence the name of the company. -- Mark Lanctot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24294 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
